The Administrative Commander
is responsible for overseeing the department's Records Division which is staffed
by two civilian employees. All of the department's investigation reports,
accident reports and case files are maintained by the Records Division.
The Administrative Commander
is also responsible for maintaining the entire department Administrative and
personnel records including payroll and training. The Administrative Commander
also coordinates the various information systems utilized by The Ross Police
Department, the Ross Police Ceremonial Unit, and the Abandoned Vehicle Unit.
At present, the Administrative
Commander has oversight authority for The Ross Police Department Detective
Division. He also is responsible for management and review all criminal cases
handled by the department.
Lieutenant Waters is a graduate
of Youngstown State University, holding a B.S. Degree in Administration of
Justice. Lt. Waters has served over twenty-nine years with the Ross Police Department,
beginning his career on 11/01/78.
Lieutenant Waters served twelve
years in the Patrol Division before being assigned to the Detective Division
in in 1991. Lt. Waters was promoted to his current rank of Lieutenant on 10/15/2000.
