Officer Zegar has been with the Ross Township Police Department since August of 2001. Prior to this, Officer Zegar worked with the City of Latrobe for 2 1/2 years last serving as the Crime Prevention Officer. Officer Zegar is currently assigned to the Special Programs division.  In addition to his regular patrol duties, Officer Zegar is assigned to the Computer Information Systems Division and is responsible for the department's 18 Mobile Data Computers.   Officer Zegar is also responsible for the department's Evidence Room serving as the Evidence Officer.

Officer Zegar currently holds certifications as a Paramedic, Child Passenger Safety seat technician, CPR instructor and Crime Prevention Officer.
